Since I got my XLR (with 26,000 miles on it last October) I've always had trouble with blowing the horn. I've had to push harder than necessary on either side and finally it would blow. This makes me think that the ground contact under the horn pad is dirty. Now it won't blow at all even though I can feel it making contact with the ground on either side under the pad.

Questions:

1-Is the horn fused?

2-How does the horn pad come off if I need to clean the contacts?

3-What is causing the problem?

I'm anxiously awaiting for someone to answer Steve's problem and questions...

My horn will not work with pushes on the steering wheel.... but I know the horn works when leaving the FOB in the car when shutting the door...it sounds to remind me.

I found my problem. It was a bad horn relay! It's the one at the front left of the fuse box, just set in a little from the side of the fuse box by the passenger fender. It is listed on the cover as I think #44, or #34? Worked some times and didn't work sometimes!!

;) Thanks Steve,,, I'll check that relay out... Appreciate you answering
