As you can see in the 1st pic.. That's the bezel (on the left) that is sealed to the headlight housing and glued to the Lens(top lens). The lens on the right has the bezel glued on. Ok.. I'm sorry.. I don't know why my pics get uploaded upside down or sideways:dunno:

Oh and the wheels are 22x8.5 all around.. And I believe they are +38 offset with a 245/30 tire

Just installed new headlights. Should I open them up and black out the bezels? Or leave it as is?

Just got new wheels (Fk LX55) for the XLR. The 1st picture is the most recent pic. I have NO rubbing problems. The ride is actually kinda nice. Rides a little bit better than a stock C6 (use to own one). Compliments and comments are greatly appreciated, and I understand everyone has different taste.

The xlrs actually have TWO sealing points.. ONE where the clear plastic meets the bezel( which I highly recommend to not remove) and where the bezel meets the headlamp housing. I baked them in the oven at 450 for 6min. The problem was that I left one of them in their for way took long because I...

heres a pic of the headlight. I just ordered a pair from ebay for 275 a pair. As soon as I get them ill start working on them and get them delivered. And the front FASCIA is not on the parking stopper. Its two inches above it :dunno:

So i tried on the wheels. The blt up great with only one Problem. The front calipers are TOO BIG and hit the wheel. Will spacers in front affect anything? Safe? Also the tires that the wheels came with are 215/35s... yuk!!! will 245/40s be ok?

I am looking at some 19 inch wheels for my xlr (Forte F18).. Really good deal on them with tires..$400!! They are 19x8 all around with +45 offset.. There's an xlr running 20x8.5 all around with +40offset.. Input will be greatly appreciated!

I originally painted the roof, wheels and grill black. The edges are smooth. Just need to find someone who has the skill and PATIENCE to do it. I wrapped the cover behind the roolover bars carbon fiber. looks cool but nat as easy to do, especially on a windy day (bad mistake):ugh:

Hello to all! New member to this site. Recently purchased an 05 XLR with 205,000 miles and STILL running strong! Minor problems such as a coolant leak in the heater core (fixed by bypassing hose), noisy ball joints, fuel level sensor ( sending unit left side ordered) and leaking transmission...

Have you checked your passenger side of the carpet? I have a coolant leak from my heater core. Bypassed it and it was fine after.
