My XLR/V(s)
2006 Raven Black XLR-V
Hi, my name is Sean, and I just purchased a Raven Black 2006 XLR-V from a (Dodge) dealer in northern Alberta. They're doing a bit of work (replacing the interior switch for the roof, and the trunk struts) before delivering it down to Cochrane. Given our weather I'll be putting it in the garage until the spring. Based on the VIN, I think I'm #2548. I'm upgrading from a 2007 Saturn Sky Red Line (my wife says it's silly to have 2 convertibles in this climate) and my daily driver is the top line 2021 Stinger AWD.

That switch is hard to find. Ask for your old one. I make a new one and buy old cores to use the cover part. If you need something in the future ill do some swapping with you.

Hi Mickeytee, thanks for the info - I'll make sure I ask for the original when they replace (apparently there was only one in Canada, so it's taking a bit of time to get it to them).

There have not been any new ones anywhere for about 4 years so used is pretty much all you can get. I see your top working so wonder why the replacement. If its bad the top wont work at all.
