My AC is blowing zero cold air on my ‘06 base. Put in more Freon, got to correct pressure when not running, pressure is supposed to increase with AC on but never changed. Today, 77 degrees, AC set to 69, per Tech 2 there was no AC request signal, AC clutch was off, compressor not running. I found other info about checking some other pressures with the Tech 2 but not sure where or how to get to that info. Internet searches weren’t helpful.
Anybody got any suggestions on things to check? We have a good dealer but they are swamped with 6.2L truck engine recalls and couldn’t guarantee keeping the car inside (I’m not interested in rain testing almost 20 year old seals or theft). So, trying to do some figuring out on our own.

Thanks!

Yes, actually. Took it to our dealer (who has a XLR tech) and it turned out it just needed A LOT of Freon. More than we had to put in. They tested for leaks by adding some fluorescent color, found none and we’ve had no leaking either. It’s still working fine. Best guess is after 20 years the stuff had just gradually gotten depleted.
