2006 XLR. Black/black. 65k miles. No issues, everything works just as it should. I have the 40 mil headlight and driving light film applied, so all the lights are great condition. Only mod is a cat back Magnaflow 4 outlet exhaust. Which sounds great btw. I can send pics if anyone is interested...

I got a camshaft position sensor code. I am going to replace it. My question is...are there 2 sensors or just one? I am assuming one, but not certain. Any help would be appreciated. BTW...I had two codes... P0340 and P0341 codes. Sensor A, Bank 1. I figured it out. 4 sensors. Got the right one...

Good idea. I will never understand why they made this car so you couldn't manually just open the hood also. Even if it was a locking hood, just make it so you could open it in an emergency.

This spring I am going to run a battery wire from the pos side of the battery to the lower frame (or somewhere convenient), cover it and secure it. If I ever need to jump the car or have a dead battery, I'll have instant access to a cable.

Pop the plastic door open, insert key and turn, lift trunk. One person job is no problem at all.

Are there any decent looking trunk lips for the XLR? One that maybe runs the full width of the trunk itself and looks good? Kind of like what is on the C7's. I have looked and only see very generic...crappy looking things online. Anyone have one?

Thanks...I have the badges. But my point is this, the car is not level simply due to the fact that the garage slopes an inch every 4 feet or so. If I level the badges, I am leveling the the badges and sticking them to a car that is at an angle. That's why in my mind, running a string from wheel...
