Welcome to the Cadillac XLR Forums!

A Zimmer anyone?

Thanks for providing a nice read. I couldn't help but notice the Fiero lineage when looking at the first picture.

My first (new) car was an '86 GT, and I had a great time with it, selling it when the second exhaust manifold cracked, (neither covered under the warranty) just after production ceased.

When I sat in the XLR for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised to see the more intuitive, familiar cruise control stalk/operation was identical after more than twenty years! Sometimes the old ways are better.
