I see there isn't a lot of choice for CAI solutions for the V. I've looked at the VOLANT CAI which I may invest in down the road. But for the time being, will the K&N filters for the 4.6 motor work on the 4.4 as well? I've scoured this forum and I can't seem to see a direct answer to this question.

Since the base and V OEM air filters have different part numbers, I would say No they won't fit. If I remember correctly the V filters are thinner in depth than the base air filters. I would guess the K & N filters are built the same as the OEM.

Thanks Cubby. As you can tell I'm still getting my bearings with this car. I'm negotiating with D3 to get a Stage 1 CAI and a Corsa Exhaust installed. That should take care of respiration enhancements.
