Help! Changing battery

Hi, can I change the battery without loosing any memory settings, or shall I use a so called memory saver?
I read somewhere, that someone had problems after disconnecting the battery.

Ulf,

You shouldn't have a problem changing out the battery and losing memory settings. You will need to re-index the windows afterwards, so that they will operate correctly and the top will operate as well.

Hi I bought a new Cadillac battery at dealer $124.00 took it home pulled the old one out and installed it .The car reset it self soon as I cranked it up.No problems.
