DIC reads : Charging System Fault. What does it mean?
It only shows up intermittently and clears by itself without clearing with the reset button.

most likely means the alternator is starting to fail. but could also mean you have a bad battery connection or the battery could be not accepting the charge because of a loose or corroded cable

You want to keep on top of battery condition along with the cables as a dying battery will make the alternator charge at 100% duty cycle and they cannot stand that. Alternator is expensive $280.00 and engine must be partially pulled to change it.
