Is it difficult to replace the door sensors (latches)
The hardware is not that expensive but Cadillac wants like $130 for labor for each one?

If you are talking about the press pads to open the door, it is simple. Two screws and wire disconnect. Reconnect wiring and screw pad back down.

Door press pads

Thanks. That's what I heard.
I also heart that you have to be careful that, once disconnected you have to be careful not to let them slip in the door panel.

The wiring harness isn't under tension. This is a simple, five- minute job.

I replaced both of mine two weeks ago. Actually took less than 5 minutes, but I had taken one apart and cleaned it previously. I had ordered new ones then saw a video on cleaning them. I cleaned the one that was difficult with emery paper and it worked fine. I only replaced them because they arrived. Clean yours first and see if you are happy with that before buying new ones. When you take out the two screws and unplug the wire(it does not try to get away!) you can just lift the pieces apart and you can see the copper that needs to be cleaned. Very minor repair and takes less than 10 minutes.
