Help! Engine running rough after it was spray washed.

Shampood and spray washed the engine of my 2005 XLR. Now it is running really rough and the "check engine light" is on and won't go off. Did not start running rough until a few days later. Took it for a long drive on the highway and that did not help. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you use the high pressure washer?

Poke around, follow the smallish rubber hoses and see if one came unplugged from the pressure wash.
