If you get the
right E/W, the answer is
yes!
Deciding factors.
Are you purchasing from a Cadillac Dealer?
Is it the dealer that you intend to perform all scheduled maintenance and repairs?
Does the warranty pay the dealer direct or does it reimburse you for what you paid?
Review the coverage carefully. Very common to offer a 3-tiered level of protection, commonly referred to as "Silver", "Gold" and "Platinum". Each increasing level offers more coverage and consequently, a higher purchase price.
E/W prices from dealers are
negotiable!
I purchased an E/W for Crimson Pearl. It covers
everything with the
exception of the Adaptive Cruise Control.
CP was purchased from the dealer that sold it new. The original owner traded it back in to the dealer with only 8,000 miles on it. I have that dealer perform
all maintenance. Recently, I upgraded CP and added the rear-sway bar kit. I purchased the parts from my dealer and paid them to install the kit - just to avoid any issues down the road.
Food for thought.
Good luck!
