Family farm for sale

Interesting that they are discouraging their own family from farming but wants anyone else to pay 3.3 mil for something they believe is failing??? What am I missing?

Been there, done this!!! The $'s are not for the failing farm,,, It's for the land, ground, real estate, earth, water rights, mineral rights, and anything else that you can think of!! Why do think Ted Turner is buying all those ranches/farms? I think it's for the future water rights!!

Chad, I would have agree with you .... I was commenting from this:

"....Under a deed restriction that came with its 2006 designation as conservation land, it can't be developed into strip malls or condos.

"The farm is operating until we find a buyer who loves this land almost as much as we do," said Will Tuttle, 63....."

It just didn't seem reasonable to think that someone would want to drop 3.3 into a losing proposition - there would have to be some sort of alternative ...and loop hole.

BTW Bruce .... I didn't miss the "point" of the article ... It is a sad day in America when in order to survive that our families must give up their heritage .......... I fear they are not the first, nor will they be the last :(
