Gremlins in hardtop

So about a week ago,after getting the windows tinted, the hardtop would stop in mid cycle.I would release the top button, press it again, and it would finish the cycle. Today I took it into David Taylor Cadillac to have a look at it. It's about a 70 mile trip one way. When the service writer (who was knowledgeable about the XLR) went out to look at it, the top worked normally. Both up and down. We think the top "reset" itself while driving the longer distance. I'm still here and decided to let them hook up the Tech 2 just to make sure the top has no more errors. Worth 150$ . But a Tech 2 is in my future I think

In my mind, $150 is not so bad for a "happy ending"!!

Yep, my thinking exactly. Best part is that the tech was helpful in that he had written down the "counts" read from his Tech2 for my future reference.
