Happy Easter from Sandy, Steve & Max!

POST YOUR EASTER PICS!!!

Hey everyone, how about posting your pictures of what you did this Easter Sunday: be they family picutres, going for a ride, at your church, or just relaxing in the spring sunshine.
It will be fun to see what our XLR family did today! :grouphug:

No photos were taken,... however I did battle with about a 4 to 5 foot black snake I spotted burrowing into the yard next to the house. Couldn't locate its head at first so I got bit 3 or 4 times before it was subdued. I eventually untwisted it from my arm and dropped it over the perimeter wall on the grounds outside our neighborhood. The snake was fine...I was doing all the bleeding.

Yes Defeated the serpent on Easter and now we have one less snake in the back yard...

Steve

Finally a half way decent top down day. Too bad Elwood is still at the shop till Wednesday.

So I went to scope out the competition:

The vette had the best times of the two.

The course was tight, so big power was negated. Best car on course was an turbo WRX. I rode with him for a few laps to get my fix for the weekend. Most cars on course: Mazda Miata.

Next week is the start of our season, I'll be trying to score points at least 8 of the 12 racing dates. I'll be on street tires for the first two races and race tires from May to October.

:dunno: :dunno::dunno::confused::confused::confused:

Steve, in my area they sell hoes that you can use for dealing with snakes (I've used one on a black snake with good effect). Happy to send you one if you'd like. Might even include free lessons. I know not nearly as cool as wrestling with a snake & getting bit so you can have infections, etc. (:bash:) - but it still can be pretty fun! Where I grew up we had .22 rifles to use for such varmints, although living in a neighborhood kind of cuts that one out.

Glad after all you went through all of that you had snake amnesty day, instead of dead snake day.

We put seat covers on the nasty seats of our 61 Olds wagon as a temorary dress up then went to friends for an Easter pot-luck!
