Looking for suggestions for carrying clothing in the car. Behind seats?
any thoughts? Links?

That's a neat ideal. But.... I don't think I have enough room behind my seat in the car. Surely I'm not the only one that drives with the seat all the way back (?).

I'm inclined to agree... the site says at least 3" behind the seat is required. I'd be crunched and I'm not all that tall.

I agree, Rod; however, my better half is only 5' tall, and she's the one w/ all the clothes. [Heh, heh...] ;)

What I do is just lay it flat in the trunk. I then make sure to disengage the sheild so that I can not move the top without going in and adjusting the clothing. Otherwise the old reliable method is to put it in a bag that fits underneath the sensor shroud and then iron everything when you get to your destination.

Okay, here is the absolute ULTIMATE way to take clothing behind the seats!

Get one of these for the back of the XLR! Wouldn't it look just GREAT!

OK I definitely wont thank you

Reminds me of the prowler. That car had the option for $500, Or some crazy price, you could add on the optional trailer.

Yes, the Prowler was a hot car! It still is! It had the option of an aftermarket trailer that looked like the back end of the car. Some people found the trailer strange looking, others did not. However, one could definitely get a garment bag in the back of the car without the trailer. I know for a fact that one can get a garment bag, gym bag (not full) and a backpack (not full) in the back of the car. However, you had to be careful not to overfill it otherwise you could damage the latch. Nevertheless, the optional trailer did solve a lot of issues for people.

(No hijacking)

Back to the XLR, just have your partner hold the cloths in their lap and look over occassionally and tell them how much you really appreciate them. I'm sure that will work just fine.:lol::reddevil
