Hi all..instrument cluster , center console buttons doors all interior lights not being lit ...Tried dimmer switch to brighten but says that Hud is dim yet Hud is on but bright .. ...nothing happens when try to increase light to see instruments....Can that be a number 26 fuse in interior fuse box..
Also..fuse box under carpet and toe board passenger side..anything need to know to get to it..
appreciate any and all help ..

Since fuse #26 protects both the HUD and IP Cluster, it should be good if the HUD is illuminated, but it's worth a look anyway. Fuse #17 protects the interior lights.

Do the steering wheel-mounted lights work?

The HUD dimmer and IP Cluster lights dim differently, with a dedicated DIMMER switch for the HUD.

If the fuses are good, you may have a dimmer switch-related fault.

Accessing the toe board BCM/Fuse panel takes about as long as it does to type this sentence. Just pull the carpet back, remove the cover, and voila! Bring a nice light source to the party.

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER NOT LIGHTING

Just checked the fuses and they are both good...when hit the dimmer button..just stays on Hub is dim....and it is not when I look at it.... do not get a choice of brightening anything other than the HUD...Thinking its the dimmer switch which may be is some module...

An added item to previous threads is that Steering Wheel lights...Center Console lights also out

You forgot to add the beer

The dimmer switch is unfortunately a discontinued part, but the chances of the switch itself being bad aren't super-high. The good news is the switch can be easily removed and checked.

Here's where it gets weird. . .

I had a fuzzy recollection of a similar problem years ago that was isolated to the HVAC control module. Curious, I went into the interior lighting schematics and the indeed interior lighting dimming function is contained inside the HVAC controller. It also contains the interior lighting supply voltages.

If the HVAC operating correctly?

Steering wheel lights are protected by fuse 39 and the HVAC is protected by fuse 29. A malfunction in the HVAC control module seems more likely since it's common to all of your symptoms.

If all else fails. . . drink beer and wait. . . One (or more) of us will chime in.

UPDATE ..INSTRUMENT CLUSTER NOT LIGHTING UP

Hi all...just to let you know what happened..turned out my back lights as well were out .have a small crack in my rear taillight that allowed the motherboard to get wet ...it was blowing I believe fuse # 8 fuse 10 amp In Underhood Fuse Box..my mechanic took a shot and get in and using a dryer, dried out the motherboard ( still not sure how ) and lights went on and stayed on without blowing a fuse..
Instrument Cluster...Rear Lights..Directional...all working...
Directional signal still going fast like in need of a bulb, but works...going to repair the crack but my quest for a Rear Taillight Assembly is still on...
Hope something here can help someone with similar issues
