2004 Crimson Red
My shift knob had a couple of spots on the top right side leather where the color was missing. I'm guessing a previous owner wore a ring which scraped the coloring off of the leather.

I ordered some water based leather dye from a vendor on Ebay in the GM Shale color.

I cleaned the leather as instructed and used a small brush and dabbed the dye onto the worn spots. It turned out to be an amazing color match. It did a great repair, looks new.

Don't know if anyone has any use for this dye but if you do, PM me and I will send you the item number.

I bought some Shale interior spray paint from a different vendor but have not tried it yet for a match.

Just posting this for information sake.
