Max Din Display for the XLR

Latest update. Need 35 more to get to 80 people needed. Only 1 week left or it will not go to production. The price was lowered by $200 to try and get to that magic number of 80. They also have financing so you don't need to come up with the whole amount. I have no association with Damian what so ever. I would like to get one of these units to upgrade my XLR.

Latest video with the details

I don't think that is the case. I think it is more of an issue with interest in the product before putting up the money. Will the return be worth it.

hes stated multiple times over the years he needs something like 60,000$ to make the buttons and case Mold. Thats ridiculous. But it does tell me if people are willing to pay that much for so little if you really look at what you are getting then some of the parts i provide to keep the cars actually going are now going to be double.

Just a suggestion, if I may. I've looked over a lot of your posts, and many guys have sent me screenshots and emailed me about your responses. If you support the community and enjoy the XLR, what purpose does it serve to sew negative sentiment against those interested in improving and supporting the platform? It's clear you want to be the gatekeeper here, but I've done nothing to earn your negativity and consistent opposition. If we are both going to be here, and this is your position as the way you want things to go, I'm well experienced in this area. Seems easier to just support a brand that wants to contribute to the community.

I can develop a lot of other products for the car, and intend to. I suspect this is your motivating factor to opposing me...some sense of protectionism, but my reputation is very good in the Corvette world and I have thousands of people that will vouch for my character. I also have people who want to battle me (without basis) that can vouch for how I handle that as well...I won't hold back.

My idea is....Let's be friends...I'll give you a chance to be a nice guy and let's help the XLR community be better. I can bring new ownership interest. My products can create new excitement. Threatening the community to "charge them double" sounds like you're sour, jealous and not too nice of a guy, I'll be honest. Maybe I'm wrong?

Ive worked on these cars for 15 years and always advised peole to look for the best price to keep the cars going and ways to improve them. But you are right. Ive got plenty of other things to work on and since you can build everything ill take this opportunity to let you take over. Good luck with that and you will not read any more posts from me. Ive just been around and saw a lot of products pitched with very few followed thru on. If you are sold on your product, build it . then sell it.
Thanks to everyone that i have been able to help and its good to hear someone else is here to repair taillights headlights top modules and all the other parts i work on.
Hope the new year brings joy and sucess to everyone. Good bye.

Your response is pretty childish, I have to admit. Saying "you can build everything....GOOD BYE" is very indicative of why you've acted like this the entire time. In my limited research, you seem to support the community, provide used parts, help, etc. I've developed something completely outside of your area of concern, so why the hostility and fragility over it? What's obvious is you're telling the community "either side with me and only buy parts from me, or I'm leaving". That's pretty ridiculous.

Great way to show that if anyone wants to make parts for XLR's and the owners support it against your objections, then it's grounds for you to disappear and pull the rug on them all? Wow...lol. Well, there ya go folks.

Yep just like you have the right to push your product i have the right to warn people what they are getting into and yes i can take my time and spend it anywhere i like . so since you can make everything ill move on. No use both working on the same items.

Let's hear your warnings about what they're getting into, so I can respond myself with facts, versus having a tinfoil hat conversation.

How are we "working on the same items". You were developing an hvac compatible dash unit that installs plug and play, in place of the factory? Where is the evidence of this? This is the only XLR item I'm currently working on, with videos and transparency, for 18mo now.

Just heard the Max Din for the XLR is going into production. Check out the latest video. 80 units for initial production were ordered and those 80 aren't fully sold, so you can still be the FIRST to have this, in an XLR!
