I have owned a many different vehicles but never have a owned any vehicle that gets as many admiring looks and comments as my XLR . I might come out of my office or a store and find people looking at my car in the parking lot. Or pull up next to me at a traffic light and tell me what a beautiful car it is or give me a thumbs up !!!

If you ever attend a "XLR Event", you should see the reaction you get when you have 10 or 12 XLRs together!

I'll add to this

When I was leaving my XLR-V at a dealer for safe keeping until the carrier was able to pick it up, a man came up to a salesman outside and told him "I want to buy this car". Anyway, long story short we certainly do draw a crowd when several of us XLR owners park together at a meet or car show.

Are you keeping your base? Can't wait to see pictures/details of your V.

I see a lot of "neck snap" when I'm driving around - I think if people could turn their heads like owls to look at "what is THAT?" they would. Also get asked a lot whether it's the new Cadillac model. The design of these cars just never looks dated.

This is so true! A local pizza/sub shop owner was taken a break outside and we started chatting, while Wendy was inside getting the order, and when he said is that a new Caddy he about fell over when I told him it was a 2005 [emoji23]

The V and the base

No, going to sell the base soon. I'm really going to miss the base because it was my first XLR and is the color combination I was looking for initially. Not that long ago I installed dual mode mufflers from a XLR-V that I bought from a fellow member. I'm working on a posting about that project. Maybe I will take the time today to get that up.

Someone is going to get a nice base!

Hey Dennis- Congratulations my friend. So glad you pulled the trigger on that V! I can't wait to see it. Lets get together somewhere between us and have an XLR show of two! Also, there's always Friday Nights at Bob's Big Boy here in Toluca Lake!
