On Star module location

Can someone tell me the location of the On Star module in the XLR ?

I believe it is in the forward part of the trunk area right side.. behind the carpet...Saw this in an old thread ...Hope it helps

On my ‘06 it’s a black box on the passenger side at the top of the windshield.

The black box attached on passenger side windshield contains antennas for Onstar/navigation/cell phone use. The Onstar module is located on the bulkhead in the trunk
