plugs?

hi, can anyone tell me the diff. between ac sparkplugs 41-986 and 41-987.i think 04-06 have 41-986 and 07-09 came with 41-987, base cars.i have a set of 41-987 and would like to use in my 05 but it calls for 41-986?? Thanks, Al

Used to be that a lower # was a colder plug--don't really know if that's still the case but
with engines running hotter temps these days, it still may be the case.
