posting new threads

Sometimes when I go to the Home Page it has a place that says , "Post a new thread." sometimes it does not. Why?? So what am I doing wrong? I'm almost 81 years young and this computor stuff sometimes completely baffles me!!!

You can't post a new thread on the forums home page. You have to go into one of the forums to post a new thread.
