Help! Racing/Competition driving

2006-V black, ebony
The owner's manual, says using the car in racing or competition driving, to overfil the engine with oil, by 2qts, then remove the excess afterwards.
Anyone have comment on this? Autocross involves short (less than a minute, usually) bursts at intervals of perhaps 30 minutes, depending on the number of entrants.
Is this a centrifical force issue about oil starvation, or protection from excess consumptioin on long, high rpm, operation?

I don't think you need to add another 2qts. of oil. You won't be pushing it that hard for an extended period of time, like you would on a race track.
