Roof Issues

I'm sure others have discussed this. The roof started with "Roof Not Secure" warning, then it wouldn't go down, however up was fine. I took it to Cadillac (I had no choice) and they say the switch is dead for the roof and they cannot get the part (there's one in the US). Thankfully, it's in the up position but the guidance of "leave the roof up" doesn't sit well with me.

Does anyone know of fixes or is there anyone in New England who can work on the roof mechanics?

Did you make sure the trunk partition was in the correct position and secure?

plus one on the trunk partition switch .what switch did they say you needed? part number . You say one in USA? I have checked and no dealer shows any even special ordered. This is a very simple switch so we may need to figure out a replacement that is available if the yare indeed failing.
