Speaker Sizes and Locations

Hi all,

Working on an aftermarket stereo setup and trying to figure out where and how large the stock bose speakers are that are being replaced. I know there are two 8 inch subs in the doors that act as the rear channel if I am not mistaken, and tweeters in the seats. There is a center channel on the dashboard but is there two front speakers as well?

Basically looking for a layout of the stock system, any help is appreciated.

I replaced the drivers door speaker and it's a 10 inch. There are 3 speakers under the dash pad one on each side and one in the middle and of coarse 2 speakers per seat for a total of 9

Use the acdelco part numbers and search on rockauto or amazon for much better pricing I think I paid like 60.00 for the door speaker

Well, I'm looking to replace the stock speakers and bose amp system. It seems that the doors aree clearly 10 inch bose speakers so 6x9's might be the best option there. Are we really stuck with 3.5 inch speakers in the dash? We cant fit a 4 in there? or maybe even a 5 if we do some modification? Anyone with any info?
