I have a swar bar left over from a 2005 Corvette that came equipped with the standard suspension and Magnetic Ride Control. Does anybody know it this sway bar will fit the 2004 XLR? :dunno:

Thanks

My understanding when I bought mine it is the same bar. One could probably check to see if the numbers match for a fit to both!

Dan, when you say see if the numbers match, are you referring to the GM part number?

Thanks,

Sal

Yes I would think GM, but then again since one's a Corvette and our is XLR it may still fit just different numbers. I didn't check but if you search the forum you may find the answer here. Just sticks in the back of my mind that I remember it's the same bar! Maybe someone here can chime in too that may know! Have great day! [emoji6]

The Corvettes had different suspension options than the XLR(I believe a total of four). The sway bar on the XLR-V does not match any numbers for the various corvette suspension options. I'm sure it will work, but you will need to know which one you have to get the correct rubber bushings for installation. The clamps and links are all the same. Here are the XLR-V part numbers:

Sawy bar. 15806422
Bushing. 10317560
Clamp. 25933429
Link. 20822934
Nuts. 11516078

I think there are also two bolts needed, but they weren't listed. I'll have to check my records and see if I can find the part number.

Thanks Cubby for clearing that up! [emoji6]

Thanks cubby, I appreciate you getting those part numbers for me.
