Does the thermostat needs to be changed when replacing the radiator in a 2004 XLR?

Does the thermostat needs to be changed when replacing the radiator in a 2004 XLR?

Just my opinion, but I would not think so, if you have NOT had any problems with overheating or no heat in cooler weather it should be opening and closing fine. But on the other hand for the couple of dollars they cost you could change it if it makes you feel better knowing that's it's changed!
