Third Brake Light

Some of you may already be aware of the post under "XLR Parts for sale" that a the third brake light for our XLR's is no longer available as a replacement part.

From what I now understand it is now available through your local Cadillac dealers parts department.

I wonder how many XLRs where totaled by insurance companies because Cadillac couldn't get it's act together?

We tried it out & got a new XLR-correct light. You need to go to "parts," put in make, year, model, then work through selections for lamps & lights, rear lights, high mounted stop lamp, & high mount lamp. Took about a week to arrive.
