Top will not go down

Top has worked fine. Put top up to lock car while playing round of golf, nothing unusual to it, no sounds or malfunction noticed
After golf in attempting to drop top, windows opened rear cowl opened and trunk opened fine but the top stayed in closed position.
Nothing in the trunk and the rear storage area was prepped, engine running in park with foot on brake........roof does not budge to open.
It sounds as if the motor is attempting to open the top, but nothing.
What to do about this?

i had to take my to a chevy dealer and they had to reprogram it. and it work fine,
