Has anyone bought an Xtools D7 on Amazon? I want to be able to work on the top. I’ve played with it on my XLR with the good top module and it seems to work well. It doesn’t offer a top relearn for an 04 but I see it does offer one for an 05. I played with that a little but dont want to screw my perfectly working top. I bought another 04 with some issues and have got them all fixed but the top. It will need a module and I am wondering if the D7 will put the new one in the system. I’ve read it needs to be tied to the system some way when you change the module. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried the Xtool D7 on my car and it locked up my tilt/telescopic steering. Nothing I tried could unlock it so I bought a Tech2 and fixed it in 2 minutes. There is a chance I just didn't know how to use it properly but I would be very careful with the D7.
