Hey guys, I don't drive dusty roads, just normal concrete or blacktop and it is not very dusty where I live in Florida. Question: Under those circumstances, at what mileage would you change the engine air filters at?

Steve,

This is all answered in your owners manual under the maintenance section. 50,000 miles. If you don't have an owners manual, it can be downloaded from this site under the Tech Center tab and then the year of your car.

Owner's manual

I have an owner's manual ;guess I was too lazy to look , or thought that wouldn't be covered. 50,0000 is a lot of miles! Most cars say to do it at about 20 or 25,00 miles as My memory tells me. I'd appreciate more of your comments about that subject if you will? Like why so many miles between changes on my XLR, and your thoughts about what I said about "Most cars at about 20-25,00 miles."

Steve,
Per your quote below; I'm guessing lazy. As I stated all this is in the owners manual and they are an average basis. Driving habits and environment will also dictate if this need replacement sooner or later, again as stated in the owners manual. You say most cars, but I would say it is probably the same as the XLR, check it and if it needs replacement, change it.
Per your first post, you already stated you didn't drive on dusty roads or a dirty environment, so I would guess you just need to check it when changing your oil and change as needed.
