Thanks Rexster, I do understand that the Tech 2 is a very dynamic tool for diagnostic, but can it also change the parameters within the individual computers? For example eliminate day time running lights, speed limiter and other more dynamic setting?

To remove this part, is it affixed with double sided tape or something more aggressive? I'm going to change out my door sills and these appear to be a double sided tape. My thoughts are to use a heat gun to warm the adhesive and then, gently, pry them up. Is this the same for the center console?

Thanks for the follow up! My concern is that a cable has a very long life where as the bushing are apparently short. The adjustment of the cable could be beyond normal humans, where the bushing seem to be very straight forward. From my work scope I will have the underpinning wide open, but...
