Forward facing camera

Did a search of the many aftermarket head unit installs but didn't find what I'm looking for. Specifically, has anyone installed a forward-facing camera, how did you route the wiring and how did you get the wiring into the car thru the firewall?

I'm using wireless 2.4 GHz Tx/Rx modules for my BackUp Camera. They would work fine for a front camera. Easy to set up & no need to feed any wires through the firewall. No idea how durable they'll be but they're cheap and easy to replace. The downside is that they don't have any addressing mechanism. Any other 2.4 GHz signal nearby will cause interference. I haven't run into any problems yet but the camera is still new.

I had intended to use a pair of wireless modules for both the front & rear cameras but without an addressing mechanism the front & rear cameras interfered with each other. The vendor claimed I could use 2 pairs without interference but that was just marketing BS. I had to forgo the front camera for now.

My understanding is that there are a whole bunch of 2.4GHz channels, so you do need to make sure each pair is on a different channel (ie slight frequency difference).
