    Warning! RUBBER SNUFFERS

I replaced mine 3 yrs ago because they had turned to goo. What a mess!! So I bought a couple extra when I replaced the 2 on my trunk lid. I just checked mine and they feel mushy so Im thinking about taking them off until something else comes available. I cant get access to my spares for a...

    A/C condensation overflow tube?????

I can tell you where mine is ... kinda. It drips straight down on the exhaust on the RH side. I hope the engineers didn't do that by design.

    Vanity Plates

Mine is in the gallery 2009 XLR-V the first 2-1/2 pages of Crystal Red Metallic I actually like MPRCTCL choice better shown above in post #24. I could of had ONE OF 6 or 1 OF 6 At one time they would let you have a half space between numbers or letters. Mine is 1 space between the 9 and...

    New mid-engine XLR???

Could have been photoshop? I have photoshop and that is a sloppy job of photoshop. Right now GM is in as bad of shape as they were when they were bankrupt. I would like to think I am wrong about the rumor but I seriously doubt we will ever see another Cadillac on a Corvette chassis.

    Incandescent bulbs

Thanks Rex. You'd think they'd make it easier to at least list them in the service manual. I guess some things you gotta go to parts.

Cadillac HQ moving back to Detroit,,,,,,,

Lately I see more Cadillac SUV than CTS or ATS. I read awhile back Ford is loosing their butt on cars, but doing ok on pickups and suv. Look at the Ford stock value that has fallin to the fire. I doubt we will see many surviving small cars until gas prices skyrocket again. Looking at all the...

    Incandescent bulbs

I've looked everywhere in the service manuals for the bulb numbers and can't find them. I know several of the interior and exterior bulbs have different numbers. Anybody know where they are?

Replacement Chrome OEM wheels for 2006 XLR-V

Years ago before I bought my V, I bought a set of painted wheels and had them chromed. As far as I could tell they turned out pretty good. If yours are pitted, you might want to get a better set if possible. Not sure what the area you live in does to wheels, but I've heard a lot of places...

    Driver's Seat Outer Cover

Whatever you do, don't keep prying on that cover. There is one small tab with a screw at the very front underneath and 2 screws on the side underneath. If you pry the top off you risk breaking the plastic cover tabs on the bottom. They put the seat together while out of the car.

    XLR-V Supercharger coolant level inspection

Remove you your oil fill cap - remove the composite cover lifting straight up - put your oil fill cap back on - remove the small cover in top of your supercharger and fill with coolant same type as in your radiator only until you can see it

    XLR-V Supercharger coolant level inspection

Supercharger coolant I noticed Bruce's link has also dissappeared. To check the level you remove the plate on top of the supercharger. If you don't see coolant, then it might only take a tablespoon to bring it up to full. I changed mine last year as I know the coolant in our cars has gotten...

    top retracting

Slow and leaking over passenger You have a hydraulic cylinder or hose problem. All the fluid leaking out will eventually run your pump dry and ruin it not to mention the upholstery.
