I'm in the middle of a K40 install, and having a hell of a time finding an ignition switched power source in or around the steering wheel. Any ideas on a location/color? The wiring schematic is no frickin help.

Thanks!

There is a fuse panel on the passenger floorboard area towards the firewall. You should be able to get switched power there.

When I installed my Curb Alert they had instructions to install it to the seats heater/cooler fuse. That fuse should be a switched connection.

Thanks guys. I'll look down there. I just need to find a wiring diagram of the area. I'm doing everything the old fashioned, "probe in, start the car, cross your fingers" way. It works, but it's tedious.

Right now, I've got it working off of the cigarette lighter. It shuts off after a bit, but I'd like an instant off solution when the car stops running. It can get annoying if you park in a parking lot with a motion sensing door that triggers the alarm.

It came out great, though.
