Thanks, John. Both my wife and I really appreciate your comment. In July when we purchased the XLR, then it had 36,155 miles on it. Now it has 36,467! And that's counting the 2 months and 3 weeks in the Caddy dealership, the ones who did all the work on the car.
All in all, they did a superb job!

Can I ask who did your upholstery ? What an outstanding job. I can't imagine changing out the color and trusting the people doing the work.

Sorry I took so long in answering your comment above...brain dead here, well it just slipped my mind-Duhhh.

Here in Florida there are upholstery shops up the ying-yang, some better than others of course. In my case, since the dealership also sells high end cars, ie. Bentley's, Range Rover, Jaguar, Aston Martin, and McLaren.
A lot of these buyers have mucho Denaro to modify these vehicles and they HAVE to do a "perfect" job each and every time and give either a 3 year warranty, or if the car is a new one, as long as you own it! It doesn't get too much better than that...so I told him what I wanted and just trusted him. Some of the work like seats and carpet he sub-let it out; parts like the Grille, Hood and rear bumper, mount and balancing the new wheels, alignment, painting of some parts his shop did because that is what they do! They know their cars the best. If something doesn't work, they make it work and it always looks like factory! :thumbsup

Anyway, sorry about ranting and raving so much but every since I purchased my 1st Cadillac in 2012, I"ve
been a customer of them and 99% of the time I don't have to go to a local interior shop myself. If they scratch something which they did, they will fix it with no hassle. That happened to me one time a few years ago and 2 cars back and it wasn't an issue. Sometimes a local shop will give you a hard time about whether it was there or not when you dropped it off, etc. :dunno: Sure I pay a little extra but overall, the satisfaction is great and I things get done in a normal time period.

Ok, I'm done and good hunting..lol
