XLR is in shop for a second opinion and cost to fix Oil Leak(s).

Patiently waiting on diagnostic and cost.

Will see if it is worth saving or taking out behind the barn.....

Trying to keep the faith.....

These cars are money pits any way you look at it . Their all at that age where your going to putout a lot of money to enjoy the car. The more work you can do by yourself then your ahead of the game .Why should I spend 5k for a NOS headlight ? I have a 2004 its a love hate relationship with this car and I have other cars that bring me more fun and less money .

Yes , I agree and understand the predicament and circumstance and I posed the question. Same here with my other Caddys XTS4 CTS4

It could be a more of a resurrection than a restoration project.... with little availability of very expensive parts.

Guess if it was my choice..... I would chosen a 2013 or later Maserati Gran T. actually the parts are more available and cheaper. Price point of maintenance being about the same.

I should know here shortly........... expecting the return call from shop with estimate $

thanks for chiming in.........
