The spring issue of Hagerty Classic Cars magazine contains an interview with Ed Welburn, GM Vice-president of Global Design. He was asked to name his top five Cadillacs of all time. He said he had written down as many as 20 different models. Then he thought about what he would like to have in his garage today.
He started off with a first-gen CTS-V, then a second-gen CTS-V wagon, a CTS-V coupe, then a V-series XLR - all in black.
But then he says, he is way off track here. The assignment was for his top five historical production Cadillacs.
