Battery retainer?

I do not see any retention assembly going across the top of the battery in my 2008 XLR-V.

Is there something clamping it by the base or am I missing some bracket?

Take a look at the base of the battery for the retaining clamp.

There's a retainer block on the bottom battery tray. Unless the battery has been replaced at some point and there was a lazy installer that left it off. I had to buy another one and the corresponding screw
