So... I got a new Bluetooth FM transmitter, and plugged it in to the aux plug (not the cigar lighter) in the console, to keep it out of the way--and that appears to be a permanently live circuit. Will the battery saver kick in to prevent draining, or do I need to unplug if the car sits for any length of time?

I leave my phone charger cable plugged in all the time and I've never had a problem.

Like others say,it will turn off.For your own peace of mind, check back at the car a half hour later to see if the blue light of the bluetooth adatpter goes out.,
