Brake Pads & Rotors

I need to replace my pads & rotors on my 2007 Base XLR. I researched the forum then went to E bay. None of the brands I saw in our forums are on ebay but there are a lot listed under the XLR & C6 Corvette.
One thing I found strange several listings said their rotora & pads were not compatible for the 2007 base XLR. Prices range from 200.00 to 500. 00 for complete sets.
has any one used any of the following:

Brake pads

I have a V, but fwiw I have a set of Hawk ceramic pads. I am very happy with that composition. They stop as well (as far as I can tell) as the oem pads. However, there is hardly any dust accumulation on my rims. They have been on the car the past 15 k miles. The down side, may be my rotors, as the wear factor may be higher than the oem. I have not observed that as yet.

I bought the Eline Drilled & Slotted Rotors by R1 Concepts with Ceramic Pads. Installed them last weekend and so far they are doing great.
Total price was 267.89
