My wife was driving on the way back from Idaho Falls last weekend. Came through Yellowstone National Park, she hit a pothole and the CD changer quit. Was hearing like a scratch, scratch sound instead of music. I tried to change CD's and nothing happened but the scratch, scratch sound quit. Still have radio, etc, but no CD changer. Any idea what could have happened? Maybe the CD bounced out of the slot and jammed the changer?

Are you able to eject all the CD's that are in the changer?

I recently had my CD changer replaced under warranty due to periodic skipping issues. If I remember correctly there is a way to manually eject the CD's when the unit is out.

Well, Sunday I decided the car needed to be washed. So, after backing out of the garage, I decided to once again try the CD changer. Lo and behold, it works fine. Don't know how, but it must have reset itself... after two weeks of no play. My wife thinks we just hit another pothole and "bounced it back into working mode".
I told her, "I don't hit potholes... that would be your forte'."
