changing out the Directional lights

Hey

Is the only way to change out the orange directional lights, accomplished by taking the headlight assembly out? If the car were up in the air could you reach up and around. Does the wheel/tire have to come off?

There's only 3 retaining bolts to the headlight. Pop out 3 plastic rivets, pull the wheel liner down some, and apply a ratchet to the bolts, headlight pulls right out. Just put some tape or something on the bumper to keep from getting scratched
