Hello all

Has any of you had anything to do with Costar Technologies with there Bluetooth hook-up to use a phone in the xlr through the radio?

looking to see if will work or not and how good it is
any thought on this would help

Been using it for almost a year and it works good for me. I had it installed by a local stereo shop because I wanted the power to cut off when the ignition is turned off.

I had nothing but problems and removed it in the end. Poor performance and audio quality. Numerous resets requiring unplugging the unit and it drained my battery more than once. YMMV
 
I like mine, but its a very expensive way to do bluetooth.

You MUST install Bluestar so it shuts off when the car shuts down or it will drain your battery.
Bluestar drained my car battery on the first day it was installed.
I was prepaired for this and left the hood open a crack so the hoodlight was not on, but i could jump the car if it necessary.
This is very simple to do with a $5 fuse adapter from pepboys.
