Help! Curb sensor

2006 Base Infrared
I noticed a couple of folks mentioned a curb sensor for the front bumper. Can anyone enlighten me, please? Price? Source? Finding curbs the hard way has already cost me a $1500 repair bill, so I'd like to avoid doing that again! THX!
