Tip

• Rotate the tensioner in a clockwise direction.​

• Ensure the drive belt is properly aligned and seated into the grooves of the accessory drive pulleys.​

Water Pump and Generator Drive Belt



Tip

• Rotate the tensioner in a clockwise direction.​

• Ensure the drive belt is properly aligned and seated into the grooves of the accessory drive pulleys.​

Tip
Access this bolt from under the vehicle.
Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)

Air Conditioner Drive Belt Tensioner Assembly



Tip

• Rotate the tensioner in a clockwise direction during belt removal and installation.​

• Relieve the tension, rotate the belt slack downward and remove the drive belt from the air conditioning compressor pulley.
• Use care not to pinch the belt between the tensioner pulley and the air conditioning compressor pulley.
• Remove the tensioner assembly in order to remove the drive belt from the vehicle.​

Tip

• Rotate the tensioner in a clockwise direction during belt removal and installation.​

• Relieve the tension, rotate the belt slack downward and remove the drive belt from the air conditioning compressor pulley.
• Remove the tensioner assembly in order to remove the drive belt from the vehicle.
• Ensure the drive belt is properly aligned and seated into the grooves of the accessory drive pulleys.​
