Had my 2006 for 5 years. No winter driving. 28000 now and great shape. No winter driving. One problem. leak on trunk drivers side. water filters into equip.

My only suggestion would be to make sure the drain hole is open; mine doesn't have the drain tube - just a 1/4" hole in the lowest point of the cavity. The problem with the drain tube is you can't really see if it's clogged or not; I would pull the tube out and just have the drain hole instead of the tube.
Have you figured out how the water is getting in?
