Remember... a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

'A house becomes a home when you can write 'I love you' on the furniture.'

I used to spend at least 8 hours every weekend making sure things were just perfect - 'in case someone came over'. Finally I realized one day that no-one came over; they were all out living life and having fun!
NOW, when people visit, I don't have to explain the 'condition' of my home. They are more interested in hearing about the things I've been doing while I was away living life and having fun. If you haven't figured this out yet, please heed this advice: Life is short. Enjoy it!

Dust if you must... but wouldn't it be better to paint a picture or write a letter, bake cookies or a cakeand lick the spoon or plant a seed, ponder the difference between want and need?
Dust if you must... but there's not much time... with beer to drink, rivers to swim and mountains to climb, music to hear and books to read, friends to cherish and life to lead.
Dust if you must... but the world's out there with the sun in your eyes, the wind in your hair, a flutter of snow, a shower of rain. This day will not come around, again.
Dust if you must... but bear in mind, old age will come and it's not kind.

And when you go - and go you must - you, yourself will make more dust!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Thank you for the reminder that life's too short and it's never too late....

Who ever wrote this doesnt live in Arizona. If we let the dust gather it would be miserable to live in it. I like clean.

I learned this too late ..... I spent 40 years working/DUSTING/keeping a spotless home ..... Have spent the last 3 years chasing the bonus grandbaby .... 'want to know what the best 3 years of my life has been?

I just hired a housekeeper to come in a couple of times .... she can do the dusting.

Thank's Rod .... I hope I 'scatter' a lot of memories ...

I need to move to Montana with Rod!

I get out to Missoula occasionally. I get to fly Dennis Washington's new plane.

Interesting ... are you his pilot? :rocker:
What kind of plane do you fly for him ..... isn't he like one of the hundred richest men in the US or something like that??

Next time you see him will you ask him if I should hold onto my Ford stock:lol:

He and his wife are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. They have about 6 airplanes. They just bought a BBJ (Boeing Business Jet) from my company (NetJets) and I am helping his pilots qualify in it. It is being painted now and we will start flying it again for them in 10 days.
