My XLR/V(s)
2004 Silver
Picked up an 04 with 40K miles on it last week. It is a beauty and a fine machine.
I have owned C5 Vert and C6 Vert which were both beautiful cars, BUT, I never had people break thier necks to look at those like they do to look at this XLR.
It is Silver with Ebony interior. I want to swap the wheels for the chrome exchange ones online and put a mesh grill in it.
Any info on the clear wind screen with logo would be appreciated!:patriot:

Welcome to the forum! Glad to have you aboard. Yes, it truly is a unique car that you will NEVER get tired of people staring at. Hope you can join us on some 2012 XLR events. You think you get noticed when you are out and about on your own? ... just imagine when people see a line of 10 - 12 XLR's coming around a corner in town - its AWESOME!

Congrats and welcome aboard.

Adding you to my list totals 7 in St Louis that I know about.

Welcome to the forum. Might want to mark Tuesday June 5th on your calendar - I'm trying to get a troupe of 6 XLRs to join this years Hot Rod Power Tour and that's the date we expect to be pulling into St Louis.

The St Louis XLR owners also get together at some of the local car show, Cars and Coffee, and other events. Stay tuned, we'll try to publish an announcement at least 30 days in advance.

Thanks for the responses and I look forward many miles ahead.
I have already learned some valuable information from this site.:patriot:

Originally from stl, moved to WI

Hello St. Louis!

I'm a huge Cardinals fan and an even bigger Cadillac man. I'm up in WI now, but drive through all the time! Drive a red Cadillac coupe through the Lou every summer.

Hello USATOY

I have the windrestrictor with logo and lighted. I love it. The lighting hookup is simple. On occasion there is reflection, at night wearing glasses, but otherwise it has no drawbacks that I can think of. Highly recomended by me. Glad to have another forum member. Mike

I too, have a lighted Windrestrictor on my XLR - I love it. I REALLY looks great at night, with the top down. You get used to the reflection pretty quickly (I hardly notice it now).

Hope you can join us at BOBFEST this September! :rocker:

Welcome St Louis. Looking forward to meeting you.

Hello USATOY
I just love my Cool Blue windrestrictor also. I added the Cool Blue LEDS bulbs to the license plate too. Gives off an awesome view to follow at night. The last picture is my new custom license plate. Here some pictures, click on them to inlarge. Enjoy

Well cool blue LEDs r gone in the license plate bulbs the cop made me change to white leds then he *****ed about the blue on the WindRestrictor too so I bought the multicolor remote unit with 7 colors and can run red while driving and other colors at car shows! It will even fade from one color into next and keep fading in a circle of the colors! That's pretty cool function!

Hey i just friended someone on Facebook a couple weeks ago from st louis. She has a silver V edition. She isn't a member here yet butShe said that she'll look into this site.

By the way welcome.

Hi USA Toy

I have a 2006 XLR with a wind deflector and it really does make a difference in turbulence reduction when driving at speed with the top down. Notice I said reduction, not elimination; there is still some disturbance from behind, but tolerable. I have a clear deflector with a
Cadillac badge mounted on it. (See attached pic)
